There are many regional representations of Liverpool in the opening of this clip. The same non-diagetic music is used throughout the beginning of the film while the priest is in the church and walking outside towards the other church. There is also the use of diagetic sound , firstly when the children are all talking at once around the priest and following him, and again when he is screaming and charging towards the other priest in the window of the church.The lighting used is quite low-key as it's a dark and dull day, this also creates pathetic fallacy as his mood reflects the weather. The colour is also dark, their clothes are mostly black. The only bright light shown in the opening is the fire outside the church where the children are playing.
